There has been alot of talk on TRS about wanting the European style quad cab Ranger..

er, my first gen bumper mounts to brackets as well.

anybody have a bronco II crash test?

I'm trying to convince my wife, as an amateur driver, that she does NOT want to DD my B2, it's just not safe for a new driver.

edit: so i just looked it up, that euro ncap test is at 40mph, i ran my 1988 supercab into a telephone pole going at least 60 and didn't do that much damage.

Mine originally didn't really have brackets.

There are frame horns that are riveted to the frame that pretty much just close off the C-channel. The bumper bolted directly to that with four bolts.

You can see it here:

I made brackets to move my bumper with my bodylift. Essentially a hunk of 3/8" angle iron replaced my bumper, which is now pretty much just for decoration.

holy sh*t !! i dont want to have the bel air but i have to say i like the snake eyes on the rearview mirror. lol

I think just as many people (if not more) have been asking for a small diesel in the Ranger as have been asking for the quad cab. The european quad cab did not look like it fared too much worse in the crash than the US Ranger (to me at least).

Not trying to offend anybody, but between the European Tacoma and European Ranger, I'll take the Taco.
