The White Ranger...

Really the only reason i suggested it to rob was because rob is a very good welder.

i would hope so considering he gets paid to do it

I wish i got paid for all the welding i do in the garage

I used to get paid to weld, but I got sick of replacing my boot laces once a week.

good, as far as it goes, i think getting the motor set, plumbed and wired up is probably going to be the only setback.

Thats the easy part lol gotta get this thing done for trs 10 year event :)

alright got some more work done... and yes the trac bar mount on the frame side will be moved down thats just a temp bracket i had to check clearences and what nots...

man ive got a ton of work to do yet...

....can you expain the plan for the front links and that body mount deal???

its a bummer you did not use the m engine, that would have been cool and at least justifiable to the engine fitting insanity....(but insane is good:D)

may consider the idea to clock the t case up and then fully dress the engine for fitment too so you can lower it a bit more and have better clearance and working room.

from the pics i have seen to this point your front links are a bad idea unless you box and cross the rails better with the link mount thru mounted. well, if you pound on it that is...i used to pound on shit alot but i am easier going now, that seems to help keep stuff together better...

the ride height is great, and i been wondering what way i will go for four good seats and able to fit up to 5 myself...most likely i will just go out 7-8 inches thru the back wall.

i had to use box tube to make a core support on my last engine swap, but with what you have you should be fine. seems full hydro is out of your budget too?

I'll have Rob get on here and answer your questions better tomorrow. Everything is mocked in position right now. Then the cab is coming off so he can box the frame and add crossmembers. It's just easier to add all the beef when you have room to work.

And yes, full hydro is out of the budget for this build-up. Maybe the next one.

i figured it was mock up...but that pretty much covers it if beefin is in the plan. just checkin...seems the last build used a similar mount but was for lighter use and had lower power. i see those get destroyed and tear he frames up when left like that.

i dont think i will three link...most likely four similar to a dodge long arm or current superduty as sometime in the future i will have alot more torque then i do now..

yeap there is lots of beef on its way... once everything clears and i have the measurements for the coil overs ill be ordering them... i also need to make the stand for the tubing bender... man i need to get off my a$$ so much to do so little time... the link mounts have the same general shape as the last truck but the upper link frame mount is totally different set up ill prob end up running 2 tranny crossmembers because the amount of force thats going to be on the one area of frame... as far as beating on it i know when to beat on it... i have an air locked dana 30 in my other truck and havent broken anything with it yet(other then steering) and i have done some pretty crazy trails with it...
