the warn jeep hubs

You should have told me you couldn't read it. I would have pasted it in an email to you. I can send you a receipt as well if you want to try to get them covered. I haven't read the other sites and I hope you haven't slandered me all over the net for this issue. If so, I would appreciate you clearing it up.

As I said before, once I gave you the warranty link that had the address for warranty returns, I never heard back and figured that's the avenue you took. I figured I hear back from you a few weeks later with your results.

Nope Like I said I handled it wrong. I am not sure which name my aunt used hers/ or her husband, and not sure of the email addy for paypal not sure if she paid with credit or paypal so as soon as I talk to her again I will get back with you for now I have ordered another set from you cause I can't find a solid axle d44 and on top of that I just bought a new set of wheels 2 months ago so I don't wanna buy a set of 5x5.5 so if everyone else says they are stronger I am gonna try them again. worst case if warn doesn't warranty them I still have a spare hub if it happens again. don't think I reall slandered you on the other sites other than to say that you weren't gonna warranty them but as I said in the pm I deleted all that stuff

I have broken ATLEAST 6-8 warn hubs (std) every time i blew the hat clean off and only had the flat surface left to warranty. Brought them each time back to Napa where they were purchased and warrantied each time. Last year they got warrantied one last time and i sold them on another site with the orig purchase receipt from napa.

Holshotracer purchased "jeep hubs" and he blew the hat as well. Been fighting for a warranty ever since. (broke early January).

I think on a D35, i was the exception when it came to abuse. I have broken more D35 parts then most would break in a lifetime.

The jeep hubs are stronger no questions.............but theirs only so strong that style hub can be.

I just got my new hubs in and because there was a question on whether a receipt came in the box the answer is no but no biggie I have my paypal receipt that I will guard with my life. Thanks Jim. I also just got a new set of clutches and plates for my 8.8 so if I get time this weekend I will install the new hubs and repack the limited slip 8.8

Last year I broke 2 warn hubs, shot the caps off of my u-joints, pealed the housing back to where the third member wouldn't seal, and tore the passenger side radius arm from the cross member, all in 2 outings. While you may be hard on your D35, there are others beating on them quite badly as well.

I would go for a locker over your limited slip, that should help to take some of the stress off of the front.

hick

actually i have gone through several beams, even broke the right inner and bound it up so bad that it shoved upward and broke the diff housing and imprinted the carrier with the splines as it slid out. I retired my explorer sport cause i bent the frame at the engine crossmember. It was so twisted that the pass drop bracket rubbed an inch into the diff housing.

but we could spend all day comparing busted D35 parts

with it bein open up front, and runnin 35" bft m/t's ull be fine

cool thanks bro, any word on them tires you were telling me about? i just got my nuts conversion kit from 4wheel parts, thanks to whoever figured that part number out, i got them for 9 dollars each.

Burnside popped NUMEROUS 29071's with a locked front axle and 31's/33's. Since upgrading to the 37760 hubs, he hasn't popped a hub, but instead spit out caps of the ujoints. He's an intelligent driver, chooses his lines very well but will still do what it takes to get up and over something.

I'm a firm believer in intelligent driving prevailing over just ramrodding all over everything. Parts and rigs seem to last longer, and the technical/thinking aspect related to doing so is part of the enjoyment.

+1

That's how I like to wheel. Plus I don't want to be reckless and toast your Dana 35. :)

Yep. I'm pretty sure that's the reason that I haven't even popped a standard warn yet.

looks like I may have damaged more than just my hub in this episode. I was looking at the joints by the knuckles and noticed a slight gap around the bearing caps on the u joints. I can wiggle the bearing caps in the passenger side axle so I guess I stretched the ears or loops or what ever you wanna call them.
