Been trying to find a few 1 ton ranger swaps to check things out on.

full on 3 link is probably out of the budget, things are going to get tight during the middle of the swap due to the baby coming so i cant get carried away or it will end up like my mustang sitting on jackstands for a few years.

trying to keep myself tame so i can be back on the trails in it in a relatively short time frame. trust me if it werent for the baby coming it would already be cut up getting truggied. the budget is the main reason for considering the leafs. time and money are both tight for a while.
it might get a 3 link fr and 4 link rear later on in life but for now as much as i hate it i have to keep it reasonable and reliable.

Yup, throw some wagoneer leaves on the front and be done. You can allways link it later on if you want to.

id say the 38-40 tire will do the job pretty good also, but would still enjoy a little bit of a wheelbase stretch

Can't say I was wanting for any more approach angle this weekend (at least not compared to what I've been wheeling, so I'm a little biased).

Pushing the front foward ~3" is easy enough, since you won't have to mess with steering too much (box relocation that is).
