the slo-vo build thread...

Bullshit, I burn up at night lol

I'll be getting shit loaded up tonight

Trailer is looking good! And you know you want to run leaf's in the front :D (I've been lurking on Pirate :thefinger:)

it most definetly seems easier to go to leaves. especially scince you have to hack away half the pad to run a link setup. (i too have been lurking on pirate :icon_twisted:)

I dno, still up in the air a little.

Been trying to find a few 1 ton ranger swaps to check things out on.

The discision will be made soon though, even if it is left up to a quarter toss or a thumb war

full on 3 link is probably out of the budget, things are going to get tight during the middle of the swap due to the baby coming so i cant get carried away or it will end up like my mustang sitting on jackstands for a few years.

trying to keep myself tame so i can be back on the trails in it in a relatively short time frame. trust me if it werent for the baby coming it would already be cut up getting truggied. the budget is the main reason for considering the leafs. time and money are both tight for a while.
it might get a 3 link fr and 4 link rear later on in life but for now as much as i hate it i have to keep it reasonable and reliable.

For the cheapness id go leaves. And the fact that its quick and easy. Less down time keeps you motivated to finish it and not end up selling

i think im going to want a little more stretch the the waggy's can give me. tired of not having much of an approach angle.

Ditching the TTB will already help that.

id say the 38-40 tire will do the job pretty good also, but would still enjoy a little bit of a wheelbase stretch

Can't say I was wanting for any more approach angle this weekend (at least not compared to what I've been wheeling, so I'm a little biased).

Pushing the front foward ~3" is easy enough, since you won't have to mess with steering too much (box relocation that is).

thats not a bad idea if i decide to go that way.
