the slo-vo build thread...

X2 on the beer keg tank. Or a fuel cell at least.

Slo-Vo,
I got a keg here! I'm suppossed to return to AAFES for a friend and get an AAFES gift card with the deposit amount on it. Want me to find out how much the deposit is on it and well you can figure out the rest! It's a full size keg too, not one of those wanna bes!

id love to do the keg tank but the tank i have will work fine without having to rig a fuel pump setup and sending unit blah blah blah...

Was someone elses idea, just thought I'd offer. Ya got a good point with riggin, sometime's it's a royal pain in the let's finish this project!

yea lol going for simple so the plastic tank will work

Fair enough, and I guess if it's good enough in the factory location, it should be good enough in a tube bed. :dunno:

it will be protected all the way around 10 times better then the stock tank, there will be 2x2 goining up and across the top then sheet metal all the way around

35's are on...pictures in a few..

What are your plans for the front? SAS? Extreme TTB? Your making me think about a tube bed real hard lol

i was planning on seeing what all i could do with the ttb, but i believe this winter i may go ahead and go SAS

beds are over rated :D

Well if you do SAS... let me know. I'll pay shipping for your 4.10 set! Plus whatever else you want for it. Haha

after wheeling i do have a few things that need to be done,

front is going up an inch, not because of rubbing but because my steering is actually pointing up at the knuckles

start finishing up on the bed because the back end is way too light, ass end was wanting to pass the front on steep downhills

rear bumpstops to help keep my springs alive

re route some brake lines

finish up the half doors

start on the sliders

do a little cutting on the front bumper

mount the winch

its getting into wedding season so time is going to be hard to come by

i like it, but not really the style im going for

if i were going to do something of that style it would be more like this...

i kind of like this but the fenders are way too low...

im still searching around for something that goes with the idea in my head

I spent like 2 hours looking at truck beds yesterday online after seeing your wheeling pics. I thought this one was pretty badass but I'm not sure if this what you had in mind either...
