Question about wires underneath seats

Greetings all!

I’ve recently begun fixing up the interior of my 2002 Ranger, 2.3L engine, 5-spd manual XLT. I ripped out the interior carpet today because it was trashed, and I discovered wiring harnesses underneath the carpet connecting to both seats. Everything I’ve read so far says these wires are for electro-adjustment of the seats, which I don’t have, and seat belt sensors, which I do have. My inclination is to remove these wires altogether, because I’m going for a stripped-down basic look. If I do that, will this affect any other essential wiring systems, ie, window control, rear lights, brakes, backup lights, turn signals, etc? Thank you all kindly in advance for your advice.

That shouldn't affect anything else.

I strongly recommend leaving the seat belt sensors connected so that airbags work correctly. The passenger side also includes the weight sensor which turns on/off the passenger airbag.

any pre-tensioners there?
they are a small cylinder that very quickly tensions the seat belts in a collision. my '05 has them.
not the same as a shoulder belt lock.

I think that started in 04 on the Rangers.
