well i just tuned up my ranger today. new plugs, plug wires, air filter. etc. it was only hitting on 5 our of the 6 cyl. one plug was so bad there was no gap what so ever. well got it running good and shes finally got some power. its a 90 ranger xlt with the 2.9 and 5 spd manual. anyway the suprising thing is my buddy has a 96 gmc yukon 4x4 wich weighs 6000lbs. he ran out of gass about 1 in the morning and he was about 20 miles away. anyway i got out there and hooked a chain on to him and pulled him clear back to my house. 20 miles averaged about 35mph. ranger did it like a champ:headbang:

pulled my 76 2wd F-250 out of hole with my ranger the other day... i had the F-250 in park lol

i used mine to tow a buddys ranger when his drivshaft broke, also i loaded it up with 13 passenger tires with steel rims and a set of 4 35x12.50 toyo open country mt's it finally leveled my ranger out the back wasnt higher then the front. it did fine just bounced alot over bumbs

yea i thought we were gonna rip my bumper off cuz my budy has no idea that he was supposed to slow me down. he would get right up by me at the stops and thered be alot of slack in the chain...pain in the ass starting off but we got er did!
