That makes baby Jesus smile!

That's not stuck, it just has snow on it. So do other vehicles in that picture.

People are having a hard time in that stuff? Those roads in that pic are in PERFECT shape!

Heck you would have a HARD time sliding on that!

18 inches doesnt count for much when its not even stickin on the ground or it already melted off, roads look fine :annoyed:

yesss, exccellent smithers.

That car has obviously been plowed around. You don't get a perfectly dry lot next to the 6 inches of snow still sitting on and around that car. It probably couldn't go anywhere until the lot got plowed and being a 10lb toyota prius, would probably be hard pressed to make it through what is still sitting on the ground around it.

A Prius weighs 3,000#. It would have zero problems pulling out of that parking spot.

My brother has one. I've driven it many times. It's a pretty cool vehicle. I like messing with the displays that show where the power is coming from. It's like a rolling science project. And it isn't slow. Really, you can't tell it's a hybrid. Except for the stupid key which is like an old Atari cartridge. I get confused starting it up.

I like the Prius, though it's too expensive for it's use. Just because someone posts a picture of one from an employee that worked through a snow storm isn't evidence that they suck in snow. Don't be an asshole. Can't you respect something for what it is? My brother helped me move this weekend. When my truck got stuck and we used my old B2 to pull it free--twice, he was impressed. But he wouldn't want to use the B2 on his 90 mile commute to Indianapolis every day, would he?

Seriously. Work on clear thinking. Look at something and see what it is. No, we didn't run for the Prius when my truck got stuck. I don't run for the log splitter when I need to drive to town either.

I just like to make fun of any hybrid since they are touted as the great saviors of the environment, along with ethanol, by the car companies, oil companies and the media who all conveniently ignore the scientific data that those things are actually have a net carbon production over pure gasoline in a comparable vehicle (IE regular prius vs Hybrid prius).

But I will give you points for not wanting to drive the B2 on a 90 mile daily commute. Driving the Ranger on my daily 60 mile round trip commute hurt. I will ask, even with a prius, what is he doing that pays enough or what awesome house/plot of land does he own to make driving almost 2 hours one way to work worth it? Curious, not judgmental.

I don't know where you're from but plows around here dont drag snow down to BARE pavement, Nice one, champ, reduce my "rep", like i give two shits. See when the temp rises, snow has the ability to start to melt on the pavement. Take Will's advice on the whole not being an asshole thing.

no such thing as a regular Prius. They are all Hybrids.

don't knock a Hybrid unless you have owned/rented/used one for work.

we had a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid that got sold (along with a paid for 2004 Neon SRT-4) so i could start my business.

not only was it an AWD V6 powered SUV that got 30 mpg HWY and 36 mpg city....... it was wicked quick....... specially when that electric motor kicked in on hard acceleration.
