The gun thread...

Five-seveN 5.7x28mm
I WANT! I WANT NOW!

Excellent stopping power (will go through an engine block) w/ the kick of a 22.

it's a fine gun, and it might go INTO an engine block, but it's not going through it, and sure as hell isn't going through it in a 4 inch barrel.

Id like to have a USP.45

my "i want" list is always so much longer than my "i have" or "i'm getting" list

I recently got a Hi-Point 9mm carbine. front grip, laser, red dot site and extended clips. I love it. I am thinking about going to get it in the .45 next.

Has anyone owned or shot the fold-able Kel-Tec 9mm carbine?

Oh well i never seen this thread i have a few toys to share

What year/arsonal?

mosin-nagants for sale at buds gun shop for $109 cash price.

I saw in the Dunhams flyer a little while ago they were on sale for $79. If it wasn't so blinkin' far up there I wouldn't mind getting one to leave as as a factory 91/30... and a Tula for something different too.

Mine was on sale for $99 at Cabela's, fresh rearsonal. Turned out to be an ex-sniper to boot. :yahoo:

Depends on the engine block, some are thicker than others and an inline without a ton of reinforcement... that brittle cast iron might break easer than a guy would think.

And then some engines have tin plates on the sides to adjust the bearings. :icon_twisted:

Mine is a '43 Izzy. All the numbers were matched when it was rearsonalled, but the straight bolt can't be original to the gun. The only number scratched out is the one for the scope serial number which is normal for a de-snipered gun. The thing shoots/operates perfect so I don't really care.

Make sure you get the chamber clean or it will take the fun out of it for awhile and you can break things when you start gluing shells in the gun. Once that is done (and you set the firing pin) you should be good to go though :icon_thumby:

I picked up a Mossberg 46 Mb .22 a couple days ago, and ran about 100 rounds through it yesterday.

No pictures yet, but I'll throw some up sometime soon. I plan to refinish the stock and replace the missing front sight (still has the mid and rear).

Man i saw one of the hipoint 9mm carbines and they look sweet, very nice plinker.....makes me want to get one :icon_thumby:

I have heard bad things about High-Point firearms. Never shot one, mainly bc I do not have one.

I have only heard good things about them just that the cleaning is a pain. Beyond that one of my buddies has a 9mm hi point and shoots good. Looks just like my stepdads glock, it is very accurate too. I have been thinking of getting the od green 45acp hi point
