The dumbest tools you "own".

I thought it was to install the valve tap on 2.9's!

its used with “sewer tape”, a long flat strip of spring steel, approx 3/8-1/2 inch wide, has a round peice on end to break through clogs. that is the clamp that goes with it, to help push the tape through the tile (and clog) heres what mine looks like:

damn, sure looked like the push clamp for a sewer tape.

I just used diagonal side cutters for zip ties.

It's no wonder they threw it in the bag ;)

Does any body know what this is? I have no clue. Got it from my wife's grandad, with a lot of old airplane gadgets. He flew in the Korean war.

That's a "Solder Sucker" or desoldering tool used for circuit boards, heat up the solder with the soldering iron, press in the plunger and push the button so suck the solder out of the joint.

Yup, solder sucker. I've got one. I almost never use it.

Thought I'd try and find some useful purpose for this thread ;)

Found laying on ground at flea market this summer. Asked what it is he said "UhmmmmIIIownntKnoooeee"

If I remember correctly that table frame is 2ft square

It appears to me maybe a cable attaches into that lip on the left

It would also seem one of those arms grabs a bite on one stroke and the other grabs one coming back

My guess is an old style winch.

Early come-along?

Looks like it could be rigged up with some cable then maybe
