Meh, you'll get that... if you use a 6 point 10mm it would work on both :)
 
Slowly but surely domestic manufacturers are moving to metric (to satisfy world car if not out of mercy) and Ford seems to have been pretty early to that. Some old suspension stuff stayed imperial but the body and the engines are mostly metric.

I remember when I first got my license and was getting into cars I thought to myself "I don't think I would ever own old American stuff. These Japanese cars are just too cool." And now I have never owned a car that had not come from Detroit.
 
Oh, with reman calipers I’ve had different bleeder sizes for the wrench from one side to the other. Nothing is consistent anymore
