The Bruiser

C-bushing are now in hope to have the front axle bolted up tomorrow

Rims are in cragar black steel 15x10
The Bruiser

Their alot wider than I was expecting so hopefully my swampers well fit

So tires are mounted on their new rims hope to have them on soon

The front axle all shined up an ready to go under the frame
The Bruiser

Here it is just sitting under the frame
The Bruiser

Here's a mock up for me to find its final sitting position
The Bruiser

Still to come is to drill and bolt the axle under it an put the 9 inch in the rear an put the tires on it.
This is a full width axle by the way

I would personally wait till you put the body on. Once you get it set on you could put the tires on the axel then center them in the wheel wells.

I've removed at the thick rubber stuff on the floor boards to find any rust really wasn't any rust but the firewall was badly rusted

Also the lower part of the piller were the drivers side windshield meets it is rusted out I'm hoping I can patch it with out removing the window

How'd you get it off? I was gonna put herculiner in my truck but decided not to because of that stuff.

Are you gonna put bed liner in it?

I used a hammer and a flat chisel to scrap it off with then I used a paint and rust stripper wheel for the rest.

I'm laying down a coat or two of armour-seal to seal any cracks or holes that may have opened up over the years

I got a new toy awhile back and it was to good to pass up so now I'm broke an waiting for my funds to pick up.

Anyway it's a 1972 ford mustang mach 1 351c 4sp drag package in the rear all 4 drum brakes

It needs to be restored but it will have to wait until the ranger is done

Looks good so far did you space the coil buckets out?

I did not an now it sits funny so that's next on my list just gotta draw up a new design for it

Just space the buckets out 2" with box tubing and longer bolts then brace the top of the backet back to the frame. I dont recall 100% but if you swap the lower retainers side to side it helps with bow.

Look at 036speed's build on here hes done the same

I'll take a look an thanks for the advice this thing has been a nightmare on my own

The 9 inch needed some attention the perches were about 2-3 inches off so I had to cut an reweild

This is the problem I have with the springs.
The Bruiser

I'm thinking I'm gonna flip the springs an build a coil tower up top

Got the steering linkages in
