The Bruiser

Well if I decided to do the solid axle that creates the problem of finding one which are slim to non were I live

so I cant find a hp d44 to save my life found a d44 that wasn't and a d60 the guy only wanted 350 for all but that's not the d44 Im looking for so Im back to the d35 swap for now tell a d44 appears.

on the bright side I return home in a couple weeks from the stan. so the build will start an pictures well be uploaded

350 is a good deal for matched axles, why not do a low pinion front now,and if uou find a hp in the future its an easy swap

Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2

Is it that easy to swap out I was thinking it had to set up differently do to the pinion that being said im a beginner an have never swap axles or new anything about it tell I joined the ranger station

Once it's set up for a solid axel you can modify the new axel to fit fairly easy. If you're getting a hd-44 I believe you would be able to find a new housing and swap all your internals and knuckles over and keep the 8 lug pattern. 3/4 ton ranger FTW!

Is it hard to shorten the axles

I haven't done it yet but I've researched it. It seems pretty easy as long as you have a angle finder. There are several videos on YouTube showing how to do it.

Looks like ill haveto get a angle finder I dont have one

Got my angle finder still looking for a d44 anyone got one for sale.

On the plus not finaly made it back to the states in a few days ill be home tearing into this truck
