That guy is from the Netherlands.

Fawk Europe. I don't want to be a stable partner with Europe.

Yes...we should be thankful..............BUT........

Those folks don't realize that a lot of people in America don't want to end up like them-----$10 per gallon fuel/45% income tax/21% sales tax/etc....

I need get back to reality and check the TRS BANNER 2012 forum......

If I wanted to live in Europe, I'd live in Europe.

Mr. President, if you want to live in Europe, take Air Force 1 and go. You can even keep the plane. We'll buy a new one.
Exactly! Hell, as a taxpayer I'd be more than happy to help pay for the fuel cost to ship him over there and the replacement cost of the plane.

Well, I had two cigars sitting ready to smoke depending on which way the election went.....

A Montecristo White....

And a Hammer & Sickle.....

I guess it's obvious which one I will be performing molecular restructuring manouvers on....

I hear there's only one thing worse than waking up in the morning with a hang-over & a ugly naked fat woman next to you.......

Good Morning America!

They are wanting to replace them anyway :D

One guy on MSN was saying Mitt lost because he was too moderate, the next guy will be farther right.

That is wonderful, they have no idea what they did wrong... IMO he was too right for a lot of people.

But many in the party are likely to conclude that they will be better off nominating a more conservative candidate next time, said Brookings Institution fellow John Hudak.

"The party is going to move right," he said. "The line is going to be, 'See, we shouldn't have nominated a moderate.'"

Everyone I talked to said he was too far right for them. That or he was a Republican and would want wars/screw-the-poor/give-money-to-the-rich like every republican wants (mentality).

Just ot lend a voice of reason, and I know I'm a noob around here, but... the doom and gloom after each election always FAR surpasses what actually happens. Every election I hear that they're coming for our guns, and they pretty much never do, and when they do try we usually successfully fight it.

As far as the electoral college... you guys should be careful what you wish for. The electoral college is hugely important for giving the smaller states and smaller population centers power. As it stands, most states with big cities go left without even trying, and I think that keeps a LOT of people in the cities out of the polls. if every vote counted? You'd see those big population centers, which are almost entirely "blue," come out in droves.

Jim, the rest of the world is just as blind as the tit suckers we have in this Country. They don't deserve our help.

How a 7.9% unemployment rate and the national debt is acceptable to so many people..... well I can't fathom it. How many people just said "Obama handled Benghazi correctly"? How many people just told the rest of us that they are OK with foreign dependence for oil?

Retards..... they are among us.

I accidentally flipped the channel to one of the debates just in time to hear Obama himself (not some paranoid guy on the internet) say he wants to support a ban on certain kinds of guns... mainly the scary looking "assult rifles" which by existing deffinition are already banned. Neither here nor there for me now with my health insurace doubling it isn't like I will have the fun money I used to anyway...

It goes both ways. The people that don't live in the population centers in the bigger states would probably show up more because their vote would count rather than being ran over by the people in the cities.

Every year Des Moines and the cities on the east coast of Iowa jerk us wherever they want to go.

I'm moving to Canada.

I know, my point is they are often all talk, or at the very least they get a good fight regardless of what they try. Every Repub that comes along claims they're going to ban abortion too, but they never do, so....

Most of this post is trying to reassure mySELF, by the way, so stop freaking me out!!!!

I think this is a large part of the problem. As someone who went through the public school system, I noticed that there was a general glossing over of history and that there was a distinct (although carefully presented) push to try to make everyone believe that the Democrats are here to help and the Republicans want wars, screw the poor and give money and tax breaks to the rich.

Now I'm smart enough to know that both of those are wrong. Neither party really seems to care for anything other than feathering their own nest and getting elected again - by whatever means necessary. The more people that learn that, the better off we'll be.

Yes, there often is a lot of "doom and gloom" predictions after elections, no matter which way they go. And a lot of times it's not all that true in the end. But then again, we never had a president quite like BO. One who promised that he wouldn't run again if he didn't turn the economy around in the first three years (and get unemployment below 8% by then), one who told the Russian Ambassador that he would have "more flexibility" after the election, one who crammed a "healthcare" bill down our throats that we still don't know what all is in it (how's everyone going to enjoy giving the government 3% of the value of your home when you sell it? Yup, that was in the "healthcare" bill....), one who DOUBLED our national debt in 4 years (despite saying he would reduce our national debt), etc. All that sort of thing adds up to be a scary proposition for the next 4 years. It may not be the end of the world, but now he doesn't have to worry about getting elected again.... what else might he want to cram down our collective throats?

I was well on my way to becoming a successful small business owner when BO took office the first time. Now I'm underemployed working for two jobs (one of which I especially hate) because the market I was working in collapsed (construction). Sure, there's still construction work going on, but most of it is big commercial stuff (I'm a small business, remember), or you have to be willing to work for around $4 an hour (because there are soooo many people out of work that have no idea what they're doing and are willing to work for nothing). I'm not happy at all about the way things are headed.

It's acceptable because we don't see people standing in line for bread or toilet paper yet. Most of those that poor were given over a year on unemployment and an Obamaphone, plus whatever other government handouts that just "happened" to be laying around. Hey, if you don't see it, it doesn't exist, right? :annoyed:

I haven't had the money I used to since the price of gas topped $2 a gallon. :annoyed:

Sorry.

Well, actually, I'm not sorry. This stuff should freak you out. It should freak any reasonable person out. If more people where aware of what was really going on, BO may have been gone before the end of his first term. And all the other career politicians would have been tossed out on their duff as well. The problem is we have waayy too many complacent "sheeple" out there who as long as they're not being screwed too badly, they don't worry about it.

There are waayy too many people willing to say "At once Comrade!" and grab their ankles. The politicians have convinced the masses that the evil rich are the problem, but not explaining the fact that most politicians are rich....:annoyed:
