I’m having trouble removing the dash bezel on my 93. I thought the radio would come out with the bezel. Most of the posts/clips were already broken before I got it, doesn’t the bezel have to be off to remove the radio?

That stereo isn't mounted to the dash bezel but it might help to get it out, if I remember right the ashtray bolts are the only fasteners holding it in, only other ones would be just above the hvac controls. The rest of the attachment is spring clips, get your fingers behind the bezel on each side of the heater controls and pull sharply and it should come out, there's a couple by the heater vents too and around on the other side by the headlight switch, kinda have to bend it a bit to get past the flasher button.

The stereo would have come with some removal tools to get it out, usually some simple sheet metal things that go on the sides, might have to take off it's trim ring but you can usually get them out without that and maybe a butter knife on each side.

Thanks for the help! I got the radio out and that made all the difference. Turns out there was only like 2 clips left intact on the bezel, I’m trying to come up with ideas for repairing the clips/studs on the bezel.
Was thinking of maybe using cut down screws and jb weld to hold the clips down to the broken posts?

That would be annoying, on that note I should pay attention and look for an extra to have on hand...

Looking at your picture, if the clips and remnants are still in the dash, it looks like the posts are hollow so you might just be able to screw the pieces back together. That and some Plastruct cement (it's more like MEK and dissolves the plastic so it fuses together, it's available wherever model trains are sold) might get you back going.
