AND I CHANGE THE OIL OF THE ENGINE,AND THE PRESSURE IS NORMAL AGAIN,I THINK THE CAR DONT RUN FOR LIKE A YEAR OR MAYBE MORE AND I THINK THAT HAPPEND THE HIGH PRESSURE OF OIL,AND I CHANGE THE OIL OF THE TRANNY AND WORK FINE,AND THE BAD PART I ADAPT ONE OIL COOLER FOR THE TRANNY AND IS LEAKING OIL I GO TO TRY TO PUT SOME LOCK THREAD FOR THE CONECTOR AND TRY FIX THE LEAK OF THE OIL

TOMORROW IF IS NOT RAINING I TAKE A PIC OF THE OIL COOLER AND MAYBE I USE POLISH FOR TRY TO MAKE SHINE THE OLD PAINT!

AND THE STUPID NEEDLE OF THE GAS IS NOT WORKING,SHOW I HAVE FULL TANK AND ONLY I PUT LIKE 5 GALONS OF GAS

I HAVE A QUESTION YOU KNOW WHAT IS THE TEMPERATURE OF THIS ENGINE3.O ? IS LIKE THE IN OTHER CARS,THE NEEDLE HAVE TO BE ALWAYS IN THE MIDDLE?

you would be reffering to the steve wilkos show. do u get it in spanish or just english?
and i think all those shows are too faked. not real lookin kinda.
if like u said the guy sold u a 160*f thermostat you could be running colder i have a 180 and mine runs a lot cooler that with the stock 196, it got hot a lot with the hotter t-stat.
btw, caps lock off. i speak on behalf of everyone im sure. haha

If your gas guage isn't working, somethig is wrong with your fuel sending unit.

Check all the wires and connections. You may need to pull the pump/fuel sending unit out the top of the tank and inspect it. A stuck float or some torn wires will mess with with the guage.

jayme:i live in the border with california,i can cross walking to america ,and in the normal tv i can watch 3 channels in spanish and 3 in english,for that reason i saw the program of steve in english!!

littlebigfoot:the other day i be in the bottom of the truck and kick like 6 times the gas tank is working fine ,i think sometimes the cars is like the girls u need to hit sometimes for be acting right LOL JUST KIDDING GUYS

i have the leak in the oil cooler,and only put teflon in the thread of the invent i did and the leak stop,look this is oil cooler i adapt to the truck

and when i open the hood,i check with mexican temperature meter(yeah i put the bare hand over the hose of the radiator)and i feel hot the hose like the normal temperature,and i remove the plug of the temperature sender,and put one wire and put to ground and the needle of the water temperature indicator show is hot ,and i found the water temperature sensor is not working i need to buy one!!

and that is what i do in the truck,and this last friday i make a week with my junk driving

i think the fact that you cant speak english 100% for some effed up reason entertains me and i cant stop reading your thread. maybe its that its about a ranger. who knows either way keep up the progress im lovin it!

I dont do nothing in the ranger only driving and put gas lol,and i check the odometer and the truck make 13.53 mpg is normal that ?


and i have the money for buy the bumper,and in the store dont have the bumper i want and i spend the money in other things

13 mpg isnt normal, im running 30s on y 3.0 and im getting 15-16mpg, which is still on the low side for what a 2wd ranger should be getting. i would be checking with a scan tool to see what temp the computer is reading when the truck is warm (up to operating temperature). if its under 195 then you may have a bad temp sensor which will cause the computer to keep dumping fuel because it thinks the engine still needs to warm up.

I think i fix the problem

I said that i was not sure what range of temperature the thermostat has, and i bought another one and removed the old one (only 3 weeks old ) and the old one is only 160F which is really cold for a termostat, i think for thats the reason the ranger is only getting 13.5 mpg instead of the min 15mpg,and now i bought a thermostat of 180F

With license plates

Yea finally my truck have license plates,my girl take the car to the smog check and the car pass(like u say guys with flying color)and later my girls drive to the dmw and this is the registration!!

p.s and i am waiting for the taxes,for paint the truck and finish the 280 bucks truck
