The 1 tool you can't live without

Im sorry for all you poor people stuck using a multitool that Isn't a Swiss Army knife.

I personally had mine for almost 25 years. And I got it used. I can't walk out of the house without having it in my pocket. Mines the big one.

And I will admit in a heartbeat. No its not the best tool. But its the best tool when you don't have a tool.

leatherman>swiss any day...

i wouldnt trade my wave for anything.

the best advantage over the swiss is the locking tools..... and not to mention heavy duty pliers & replaceable screwdriver heads .....

i even bought the aftermarket pocket clip :yahoo:

i have a shop full of tools i could not be without, but the best butt save for me is the winch on the front of the truck!!

Hamds down its the 3lb sledge on the 6in. handle (one edge is down to almost a point)
(like D>) or a roll of duct tape

My 48 oz Blue Point ball pein hammer is by far the handiest thing in the box. That and flex head ratchet wrenches are what makes my job easy. There are so many tools that I use all day long that I'm sure I can't live without.... My good ol IR 1/2" impact gun is pretty helpful too as is my Snap On KRL box... The choices are endless!

Vice grips and Cresent wrench. Ford mechanic's best friends.

Fluke Mutimeter w/ spare fuses.

Where would I be without a mutimeter!

anything else can be "primitive pete" fixed. lol.

My hammer is an 8# with a 6" handle. It's not my #1 tool though.

i mad a hammer out of a 25lb steel weight before .. had a 12" solid steel handle haha

KelTec .380 with Lasergrips. I've never needed it but have it with me just in case...

Here's mine:
