The 1 tool you can't live without

my iphone, i can look up any tec data, and if i dont have enuff tools, i can call people to bring more.

i only get to choose one? Thats impossible for me. I've got at least $1000 worth of tools I can't live without. No thats not all of them.

i agree!

id have to say my welder or the heat wrench.. thats saved my bum a TON

My favorite is my bluepoint 3/8 cordless impact. After that...probably a 4-in-1 screwdriver with the bits you can change, then a good pair of channel locks.

probably my klein 9' Linesmen pliers heavy duty as all hell, make great hammers, and can cut through everything

Duct Tape and WD40. Shouldn't move and does, use Duct Tape. If it Should move and doesn't, use WD40.

But in all seriousness, I would have to say a large flat head screw driver. Next up would be my Swiss Army knife.

Snap On Bent Flex-Head, Comfort Grip, 3/8" drive, 13 1/4" long, super fine 80 tooth gearhead

It gets used every day, all day. I will never use another ratchet again.

My favorite two are the Vise-Grips and the Crescent-Wrench. If you round it off then use the vise grips.

I keep a tool box in both cars but the one tool I have to have with me is my 12" mini wrecking bar..... it was invaluable while driving a truck....... I could thump the tires, beat on the breaks when they were frozen, pull nails from the floor of my trailer, use it to jump the starter solenoid....... and it made a decent weapon.

And unless ya buy a high end model you have to flip it inside out. Love to really grip it hard and make those tool marks in my palms.

Thats why I love my Leatherman Charge TTi. Plenty of edging, and built out of stainless and titanium.
Never, ever, ever leaves my side. I swear ill get married with it on my hip, and probably cut my slice of the cake with it.
Never a day goes by where I dont use it at least once.
Best $175 CDN my parents ever spent (X-mas present)
