I'm a1999 Mazda (Ford Ranger) owner who appreciates my b2500 and glad to be able to peruse suggestions and comments on this venerable little truck. Good to know I'm up to 180K miles with no red dash lights and runs good with average 20 MPG. Only thing I did was have timing belt replaced (with new water pump,) and upgrade to slightly taller tires (which fit the truck better.) I also repainted the bed with original color and used clear bed-liner (Dupli-color) instead of black. I bashed the door on a cement pole at the gas station, but other than that it's a decent truck. I often have maintenance questions that only a fellow Ford owner could answer. Again, thanks for being here!
