Texas 4x4 rescues stuck drivers

that is awesome. its cool to see an offroad vehicle on the news where its not getting bashed for whatever reasons.

Yea, although its funny with the cars not moving on flat pavement, some people suck at driving

Yeah that was pretty good. The guy with the buggy posted up on another forum, apparently he was at 4 psi in all the tires, 5.13 gears behind a chevy 350. Its an 85 K5 truggy. said his biggest load was around 80,000 lbs that day. he broke one 20,000 lb strap and it took out a brakeline, that was the only carnage. Pretty bada** truck though

Also said there was an H2 trying to tow people on 35 swampers... but even with 4wd the hummer had no traction

that was a sweet lookin rig he had......for a chevy

funny how the cops didnt complain about an un-streetlegal rig driving on public highways. but let it be a sunny day and it all changes.

pretty fawkn sick rig though, and awesome he towed all those rides.

i though it was funny that black guy thats was stuck in the ditch, when he drove off and smashed out...thats why he was stuck in the first place. fawkn dumbass people

How was a crown vic gonna get to him in those conditions lol?

That was great to see a off road rig helping people out like that. Just might have changed some people views on 4X4s. Texas probably isn't used to quite this much ice. Me and my buddies have had to help quite a few people around here. Knowing how to drive in this stuff and having experience in it really does come in to play.

I wonder how many people said Thank You.

Very cool story tho, definitely gives some positive attitude twords the off road community.

i can't believe that black guy got stuck! under his name was "Grande Prarie" which is a city in northern alberta canada... i'm in calgary alberta. GP i think is another 8 or 9 hours north of here... and for comparison, he said it was cold there... it was -32 here, 3 nights ago...
