im looking for a rubber grommet for my cb radio antenna cable. i drilled a hole in the door of my bronco II to run the cable through. anyways i need a rubber grommet that will allow the bigger end of the coax cable thorough but also will be snug on the cable so water wont get in. so basically the inner diameter needs to be smaller then the outer diameter. what do i call these and where can i find them?

have you bought the $3 box of "HELP!" brand assorted grommets from autozone yet?

i ran my coax up through the transmission tunnel, through the rubber seal....in case you wanted another idea.

My antenna came with it's own cable and grommet.

get the right sized grommet for size whole you drilled and then slice one side to the center. seal it with some rtv

that is what i was just suggested from napa. too bad they only have one in stock so i better get it right.

as for the Help! branded grommets i checked and they had none of what i needed. finally napa had a sealed grommet.

Its called a "rubber" grommet. The coax ends will fit through just fine, itll be tight but you just gotta push real hard. being that its rubber it will stretch a bit then go back to normal size to seal the cable. Then buy some of that new duct tape spray.

yeah i had to make a half cut on each side for it to fit around the coax i got some silicone sealer to run around the hole to seal it up.
