I'm a young guy (24) and I'm into tattoos and rangers. Have been for the better half of my life and probably always will be. I really want to get a ford or automotive type of tattoo but I don't want the normal piston or sparkplug. I'm thinkin the 1-3-4-2 firing order of my lima but I want to artsy it up rather than just have a pin number on my arm. Anybody got any creative ideas?

Remember, tattoos are for life, or at least very expensive to get rid of one...

I would go with something that will stand the test of time. Something that 35 years from now you won't have to explain to your grandkids what it is.

While not original or very exciting, there is always the Blue Oval.

If you can afford it, a good color tat of a Ranger that is done up nice. And make sure the artist does good work, you are going to live with it a very long time :)

And post pictures of it when it is done/ healed up.

Unless you have it tattooed on your netherregions somewhere. then we definitely don't want to see it...

I have a couple of them already. I was really nervous to get my first one with the whole life long thing but now I'm not so worried about it. Even if I fall in love with Hyundai a week after I get it, it will still have been something that meant a lot to me and I wont regret it.

I thought about the blue oval but I think if I go that route I'm gonna go with the original ford motor co sign logo.

I will definitely post pics. And don't worry, it'll be on my arm.

Do the firing order thing, with a hoochy-choochy girl above or below each number. Always leave 'em guessing.

You could do a distributor cap, looking from the top, down like in the Chilton books, with the numbers inside each circle and small solid blue oval in the center of the cap. With a sparking/flashing effect coming off of number 1...

I'm 34 man, and got quite a few tattoos and regret none of them, because they all tell a small bit of my story. But remember, if you find a legit, talented artist, that's the important part.

I always wanted a tattoo ...but a comedian said once
"When my grandfather was young he got a Harley Davidson tattoo on his arm.
Now he is older and it looks like is says Harry & Dave "

To illustrate what I was saying, something like this...

Obviously better drawn with depth, shading, etc. Excuse my rudimentary kitchen whiteboard artwork, but you get it.

I like that bushman. I'll definitely take it to my artist and see what he can do with it.
