Takata Air Bag Problems

I just read an article on Carcomplaints.com that scared the hell out of me. A driver of a 2006 Ford Ranger was killed by a Takata Air Bag during an accident. The full article is here:

My 06 was added to the list of recalls a week (to the day) that I got ran off the road, air bags went off of course. I got pissed when I saw it and even more so when I got something in the mail. Takata airbag recalls have been out for a long time and they are STILL doing new recalls. They need to be put out of business and have other manufacturers create replacements

Or we could just not equip vehicles with things that explode in your face when you have an accident.
