I like it but I wish the gate was down and the back was like the opposite end of the bed...obviously chopped to size or whatever..

I saw one in another forum where he cut the back 8" of the box off. Mounted to the wall. Tailgate up made room, tailgate down was a seat or work bench.

Before seeing the picture I thought it was for a way of turning the back of your truck into a seat for tailgating at sporting events.
