Hi guys, I have stock springs, and when I pull my trailer, the truck sags low. If I put any weight on the trailer, I have to use my F150. I've been reading the posts here, but I haven't found anything about overload springs, or what different ways to use. My truck is a stock '05 FX4. I thought about a add-a-leaf and a T-bar twist, but I see that there could be alignment issues. So, before I screw up my truck, I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

I'm curious as to just how big this trailer is. What are the specs on it?
I've done a 6'x10' trailer with my Ranger and it hardly squished the rear down at all.
I'd look into re-distributing the load as well. About 500-600 lbs on the ball is about all you should need.
My trailer is a 16 x 7 tamdem axle. I'm told that tamdem axle trailers usually have alot of tongue weight. I don't know the amount, but two guys can't lift the tongue off the ground. It seems pretty heavy. The reason I use my Ranger is it's alot handier, and the bigger truck drinks alot more gas.
