suspension lift identification

No idea who made it, but I'll try to share what I see.

The rear is a generic lift shackle set on the shorter hole. I'm not saying that it has an Amazon/eBay kit, but those are often found in them. They can also be found at your local auto part store sold as Chevy lowering shackles.

The front looks like a spindle lift to me. The springs and the lower control arm angles don't really look like a spring lift to me. On a spring lift I'd expect the lower arms to show more of a downward angle with the suspension loaded, not almost flat level like they are. On a stock 2wd steering knuckle, I'd expect the lower ball joint to be much closer to the barrel of the wheel than what those pictures show. On the stock knuckle the tie rod connection is also below the spindle, or centerline of the wheels, but in those pictures it is above.

Having said that I've never paid that close attention to the 98+ 2wd coil spring trucks. I've owned two briefly, but had no interest in the suspension. One was a parts truck and I didn't need those parts. The other was a fixer upper that my cousin gave to dad and I for parts, we fixed it and he flipped it before I had a chance to think about it.

If it is a spindle lift, then they either have the lift height wrong, or that particular spindle is no longer produced. All of the results that I can find for lift spindles are for 3 or 4 inch lifts. Maybe it's a three inch lift spindle and they installed the shackle in the rear to level it back out.

That was a nice truck, very basic, but nice. I'm not sure that it was 12k nice, but I suppose that would depend a lot on market and desire.
