I have a 92 2wd ranger that is soon getting a 5.0l EFI
I would like to keep my belt driven fan and tuck radiator under support.
What motor mount setup works the best to acheive this.
I would like engine to be as low and far back as possible due to the
M50D R2 trans with the larger 163 tooth flywheel I am going to use.
I have a dual sump oil pan. I was thinkin about using either a convertable
mustang mount or 70's truck mount. Is the 4.0l super cool radiator
good enough to keep the v8 cool? What about the 5.0l Explorer rad.
which is the better setup.

I used the stock 2.9/4.0 lowers massaged a little bit and I got the engine as low as you can get with a dual sump pan. I'm not too sure how the mounts you listed work, I haven't used them. As far a the radiator, the 4.0 will do ok but a radiator that originally supports a 302 will definitely work better.
