Sub box between jump seats

Couple months ago i bought an alpine type E 10' with a jl audio jx500/1 amp and box from my buddy for $100 and put it in my ranger. I liked the sound but the box was way to big.

After searching the internet for a pre made one i found this

I used the diagram he had but modified it slightly for a better fit.
The box is small for my type E but im planning on getting a type S as soon as i can.

Had to cut out part of the plastic where the jack went but it fits snug and using some aluminum i got from the scrap bin at work i made some brackets to secure it.

Total cost to build the box was about $50
 
im surprised no third company has begun production of these with this design...
 
I know this is an old thread, but I am wanting to do this as well does anyone else have some photos and the photo's from the original post are broken? Thanks In Advance
