Stuck Bolts!!

it's your gun... i had a 100ft/lb 1/2 gun and a 200ft/lb 1/2 gun when i did my body lift, neither did anything, so i went and bought a campbel hausfeld 450 ft/lb gun from home depot for $100, and it still didn't do anything on a single bolt (other than over work my compressor) bought one of those small propane torches and used a snipe on a 1/2 ratchet and every bolt came right out...

ok thanks guys. I'll have to wait on the new gun till I get paid and have a compressor, but for now I'll keep trying the penetrating oil and the torch

Kinda looks like he's trying to take an alternator bolt off with the lug nut-sized socket.

Yes! And it also looks like he's trying take the alternator off before removing the serpentine belt.

Well.... the belt should loosen when the alternator is unbolted.:icon_surprised:

Good point, I've just always been in the habit of removing it first, figuring since it's under tension it could fly off or something.
