Stuck at 30psi

I think it is running rich because my fuel economy sucks.. I think somewhere around 10-12mpg. Per Roert42, I'm going to take a look at the ECU today.
Replaced plugs, wires, coil, O2 sensor. Still nothing. Nothing. I'm about to put a stick of c4 in this engine and destroy everything.

Sounds like it’s being a real challenge. Hang in there. I went through something similar with my choptop at one point. Pulled a known good motor out of a junkyard truck and dropped it in. No start. Chased things, cussed at it, and finally started swapping known good parts off my old motor and putting new parts on and fought with it for a couple weeks, ran the battery down I dunno how many times trying to get it to start, and I still have zero idea what was preventing it from starting. I was working on it and scratching my head and the battery ran down and I wanted to fight with it a little tiny bit more so I hooked up jumper cables to my Ranger and VVrrroooommmm…. Da fawk… thing ran great after that, no hesitation to start. Hooking up jumper cables should have fixed absolutely nothing.

So I'm thinking I'm going to have to investigate some compression issues, going to try and run some tests this week. I'm going to get it out to the new house and see if I can't borrow an engine lift somehow if necessary. In the meantime, I have an old rav4 I can drive around. Might be awhile, but will report back once I figure this out!

Yes please do. I am hooked to find out what's up. :icon_confused::popcorn:

I'm also very interested in what you find.

When you replaced the O2 sensor did you check the wiring harness connector? It could have corrosion on the pins.
