Street Rod Ranger

to fix your radio problem, run an iPod straight to the amp, then amp to speakers.. no head unit neccasary, and you can hid the iPod in the glove box.

LOD- http://www.mp3playerstore.com/stuff_you_need/accessories/iPod-Cable.html
and volume know if you want one- http://www.bestbuy.com/site/PAC+-+R...rfdj&AID=10474050&skuId=9046105&CJPID=4169840

you could hide everything, and just need an ipod, amp, speaker.

oh and that LOD cable even charges your iPod, got a couple of jeepers locally that i think are gonna run it this way so they don't have to worry about a headunit.

Quite an uneventful first fire up really. The only leak was the front float bowl. No bad noises out of anything. I just need to get a timing light, because that was just based on my best guess sticking the dizzy in the hole. Something's a little funny with the idle speed, too. I could not get it to drop.:icon_confused:

any new updates?? this truck is amazing and i wanna see more

I bought a MSD timing light because the chinese timing light I was using seemed to be bouncing around a bit. It seems to run nice now, but I haven't put it in gear yet. I actually could drive it now as it sits, once I bleed the brakes and add some gear lube to the rearend. I want to get another couple weekends of work done on this truck before spring comes. The last month I've just been focusing on getting some motorcycles ready for spring too. I think I am the only person that complains about winter being too short!

Here's another video of it running. I was hoping the Gopro wouldn't distort as bad, but even it had troubles.

The box is in at the body shop now. I would love if I could get that in place this winter. It would make such a huge difference to making the truck, look like a truck.

Wow i simply love this truck. I am a huge vintage drag racing and 50's and 60's hot rod fan. The cheater slicks and old mags would be awesome. I too am going to be doing a vintage themed ranger. only mine is an 02. right now im doing all the performance mods then the suspension followed by paint last. here is something my girlfriend whipped up on photoshop.

Looks awesome, makes me miss my f100 uni body that I sold last year....I had the unlock runnig and everything and I gave up on it due to money issues at the time.

Long time no see! Thought I'd drop by and see how the ranger is looking:D

And I see it looks good!
