Man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You found it under your hood.......I can't tell if it's Male or Female

Maybe it's both....hermaphroditic in nature....come to take over the world, one vehicle at a time, multiplying exponentially until........

gross. those things are heavily attracted to vortec chevy 4.3's! the v8's attract even bigger ones.

kill it with fire immediately

i have that arachnid under the hood of my bII!, order the updated spider from the dealer that has the white legs, that have a 1/16" larger tube and the valve is moved up to the tips of the legs

Ya, that spider looking thing attacked me. Now my hands are all black.

It was hiding under this gaint plastic piece. Never saw it coming.

Dude...somebody slipped you a mickey!!!! Watch your back...they can sneak into bed with you!!!! lol

hahahahhaah what the hell is that thing anyways?

It's part of the fueling system on a Chevy V6. People call it the "spider module." It injects a precise amount of fuel into the injectors, and the injectors put that into the cylinder of the Chevy.

THAT* would be the fuel injector/ spider for the chevrolet "vortec" motors. Common in the 4.3L v6 and 5.7L v8's as mentioned above. I remember pulling one of these out of the box to examine it when i worked at Oreilly's. Ive been wrenching for years but never had to change one myself.

You're lucky. I've had to do at least 10-15 of those damn things. The earlier models had problems with the lines getting clogged.
