Well i messed up on doing my exhaust and as of now my exhaust dumps right after the hollowed cats, can this hurt my engine at all? I don't really want to drive it unless i know for sure

Thanks for doing your part in hurting the environment that much more...Anyway the only way its going to hurt your vehicle is by the heat toasting everything behind the cats....

i didnt gut the cats myself it came that way when i bought the vehicle. But thanks for the info, i have to get my flowmaster super 44 welded on tomorrow hopefully it will work

1) It will run just fine without any of it. If anything, might lose a little torque down low due to a wide open exhaust and no backpressure. Adding a muffler would quiet it down and put it back to normal.
2) Speaking about empty cats will get alot of negative comments. Obviously it needed to be pointed out in your question, but something I would avoid bringing up. :icon_thumby:

I won't hurt anything, it'll just sound like shit and make you look like a hillbilly.

Wasen't blasting him about it because no, one vehicle with out cats won't hurt but if everyone thinks that and does it...PLus our cats are basicly no restriction anyway

Compaqueo... I wasnt trying to single you out or anything and you were very civil about the cat. I didnt realize you were being sarcastic. However, I have found quite a few people on here get very carried away when its mentioned and the post turns into a flame or bitch session. I was just trying to give him a little food for thought on future posts. THe last time the issue of beadlock wheels came up for example, it got way out of hand and the beadlock could fly off at any second in a school zone blah blah blah. :icon_thumby:

Ha my bad didn't think you were but just in case someone did, i thought i would say that...Wtf aren't beadlocks welded on?

Yeah i drove it for about 10 miles, it does sound like shit. My exhaust pipe is all weird and messed up, i had custom connecters made just for my needs, and then i find out it doesn't go on. Now i gotta weld my super 44 on and try to fill in the gaps, it's crazy.

When i first started it up and idled i didn't think it was too bad, soon as i put a load on the engine i was like "screw this"

Aw crap... here we go again.

no. they are actually bolted on on certen rims but are illegal in california so people here use fake useless ones that are "cool looking"

Correct, they are welded on and then the outer ring is bolted. However, there is no law in California that says they are illegal!

If there is such a law, lets see it.
