Allright guys I have looked all over but can't find the answer, I had someone steal the cats off my truck so I have to fix it myself because of the cost ,but my question i need to come off the stock exhaust headers with extensions, what size is the header to the header extension flange,2.25"? I no thats the pipe size but just not sure if the flange is bigger

Do you have headers or exhaust manifolds? There is a difference. If headers, what brand? Headers are welded tubing. Exhaust manifolds are a cast metal. Normally cast iron.

Sorry about the lack of info, I have stock exhaust manifolds. So I'm looking to come off the stock exhaust manifold on both sides with a (2.25"??) Pipe just for the life of me cannot find the flange size that meets with the exhaust manifold

Unfortunately, I never did any customization work. Just pulled parts and put parts in that I was told fit.

The info you gave will help. I think the tubing for the exhaust is 2 1/4” though.

Ok great ill run 2 1/4 to where I can tie in to existing exhaust, I guess I could safely assume it's just 2 1/4" pipe flared for the flange?

If yours is set up like mine, the pipe is flared and you will probably need new donut gaskets on the exhaust manifolds. You might want to consider have a couple extra studs on hand just in case. I had one snap on me when I replaced the driver's side cat. Once I had everything apart and the broken stud out, I replaced the other one just to be safe.

Depending on what you get, the studs might come with the passenger side pipe for where the two bolt together to make a Y. Since I didn't replace that side, I can't say whether nuts will come with it if it comes with studs. I had to cut the old studs off and knock them out. I bought some stainless steel bolts and nuts from the hardware store to reattach them.
