i like those...its about 2 inches further then yours out on bottom.

cool real good and cheap but fairly strong.

typical fill location

my truck folds up pretty good and clearances in certain areas get too tight

i could see that neck getting into the air compressor. with your cage properly tying the frame together it may be a non issue.

my radiator now goes from behind one headlight to the other....shit gets rubbed together when i dont want it too on occasion.

i have spent serious coin on custom radiators for myself and clients, turned out the one thing i did not like since the beginning back in the 80's worked the best. :dunno: shit learned the hard way.

Good looking rig! Have you thought about a radiator from a v8 explorer? Should solve your rubbing issues

my concern was with yours as pictured...i dont or rather did not have rubbing issues at all with the little radiator. my custom 4 core was a different story. i had more room then you have as well.

the radiator pictured with the 44's above literally blows an explorer radiator away in cooling. i have used them both....along with 351 cobra r radiators etc. both under hood and exterior mounted...even tandem.

the one i have now which has some rub issues cools about as much as 2 explorer radiators. but 6.5 idi diesels require a little more then a small v8 explorer engine, even in a ranger.

its pretty fat....but does its job. making that square peg fit in a round hole....well...its ugly:D

i have sort of put a build explanation here http://www.therangerstation.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35931

Wow a 6.5 swap! Thats new! I almost put in a 350 just because of lowering costs over the ford motor parts

It looks like my build pics are history so I did some searching and found more than I thought I had,im just gona reinsert them here and start ftom the begining if no one Is opposed to it.

I started with a stock 91 2.9,hogged out the fenders for 29" swampers and wheeled the wheels off it. After the front died I put a d44/9" from a 77 bronco with 411s ,detroits, and duff radius arms

Then I came up on this cute little kids truck with street tires and a superlift. Well that had to go! I did a d35/8.8 swap with 4.11s and a shiny new set of springs and tires!
