steering wheel compatability

So I was working on putting new seal for the power steering and was messing with the steering wheel and somehow stripped it out... Granted it was a cheap steering wheel but I have purchased a steering wheel from a 93 ford ranger w/o air bag and cruise control.

Maybe easy but I was wondering if the 93 ford ranger steering wheel would have any issues going onto my 85 ford ranger?

If it's like the 92 style I have here, it'll leave about an inch gap between the wheel and column when mounted. The steering wheel actually sits closer to the driver by that amount...

Much appreciated senornoob. I had already purchased the wheel and just wanted confirmation. I don't think it sitting closer would be a problem

So I received the steering wheel today and I have to say it does fit really well so if anyone runs into this issue in the future and 93-94 steering wheel does fit the 85 ranger completely fine. maybe a few inches closer to the driver as senornoob stated but other than that completely fine.
