Any ideas on how I'd spin my flywheel to start my ranger.
So after spending a week in the cold diagnosing a crank (then just one click)no start issue with my 95 ranger xlt 4x4 automatic cause bad starter and solenoid. Removed it got the rebuild kit and new solenoid but now I need to move my truck To my new place but don't want the tow bill.
Was thinking putting the starter drive on a smaller size motor or drill and hold it to the flywheel gear and turn it on well someone turns it over. So since I have been stopping at the ranger station for some time now and was curious if anyone has tried this. Or has any thoughts.

None of those are good ideas.

If its a stick shift you can pop start it, but other then that theres no way.

Since you have an auto youre screwed.
