Most of you have seen me wheel my stock explorer from time to time, here it is (this was right after i bought it back in like feb. i think)
And here it is now, ready for some trails
big thanks to tim (holshotracer)
for stopping by and helping me with the rear lift and bleeding the brakes. I think he may start calling before comeing over, since every time he does i put him to work :sonicjay:
Pieced together 4" lift and SOA in the rear. The only part i had to snag was my pitman arm from the B2. So the B2 is not steerable right now and will be getting a new soon.
I can't beleive for being a 91 with 180K and the rockers being gone and the fenders shot and being a Michigan vehicle, that all the bolts came loose with no heating. The only thing that gave me a problem was a PITA coil spring retaining nut, but that just required some PB blast and some musle. Didn't bust the torch out once. The shock bolts, beam bolts, leaf spring eye bolts, hell even the leaf pack pin came free. It was quite pleasant not having to fight every bolt.
