I'm really confused as to what this post is about exactly?

starge 8 locking fasteners

Hi Martin & Sasquatch,
Stage 8 makes hi end locking spindle nuts. they do not require the outer nut to be torqued down to 150 - 200 + lbs to stay on. There held in place with a locking retainer and a grooved spindle nut. A snap ring holds the system in place 1 to 2 deg of the manufacturers specs. Watch the video on three site. Also make bolts for header,s fly wheels, ext. question, is the inside dia. of the warn hub # 29071 the same as warn hub # 37780 ? I'm have clearance problems with the spindle nut locking system.

thanks for any help,
black bart

Yes, dimension wise they are the same hub.

These locknuts will not work with a D35 TTB.

To me its quite easy to just torque the outer nut to 220+ ft lbs....not to mention cheaper than buying some fancy lock nuts.

I've never had a problem with them coming loose.
