I had to use ratchet straps to bend mine into place. I think I busted out the drill at some point too, can't remember. Try the ratchet strap thing first to see if you can pull it into position. I have to believe there is a bit of variation in the way these B2 frames where put together. Keep us posted with pics and we'll get you there

yea it looks like if i bolt the 2 into the frame rail first i can bend in the 2 ears like your saying and itll fit. i had some people answer me in fb forums to that helped me figure it out just wanted to make sure before i beat this thing bracket a little in to fit

Also loosen up all of the bolts and don't tighten them up until you have them all in. Gives you some wiggle room.

If I wasnt 1,000+ miles north of ya, I'd come help lol

yea ill fit it loose I just need to beat the right side ear in the pic in a little and I think it'll line up ill post an update soon. Haha I appreciate that a lot all the info you've given me as helped a lot already! I'm getting close i cant wait for it to be done!

Try seeing if you can get a ratchet strap around it and pull it in. Will be easier

2 hits with a sledge hammer lines up literally perfect lol now only thing is how it bolts up at which angle and if i should put some type of washer or not? heres 1 angle

or this angle? if you can see how in the first 2 the front bolt has a small gap and in these 2 its sitting on a slight angle but looks to be more level.

I just tightened my until it snugged up. I like your washer idea better

kcm,

I put Grade 8 washers on both sides of each fastener on every lift I've installed. If they weren't in the kit, I would let Duff know but just buy them as we are talking about a very small expense to spread out those pressures over more surface area.

I have installed 1 Duff lift and if it hadn't lined up perfect, I would be on the phone.
