If i change my front springs out(1987 xlt4x4 2.9) and replace them with F150 Springs do i need F150 shocks.

I did this. I cut a coil and a half off iirc. And dont remember what shock i used but it wasnt off the f150. I think its in my b2 plow truck thread.

I'm having a hard time finding the spring seat and isolation(1987 XLT 2.9L ranger) so i went with the F150 set up, now i cant find the seat or isolator for the F150. Now i know why people use the Daystar. Dirty

Anybody else have this problem, if so what did you do. Need your input. Thanks Dirty

found one FOTZ-5A307-A(seat) on eBay. Don't know what side it goes on though. I'm confused about the isolatior though. There are so many different types. I going with the welded washer method. Your help is needed and appreciated. Thanks Dirty

P.S. This goes on a 1987 ranger 4X4 2.9L
