SPEWING fuel

Looks like the TB comes off the side instead of the front. Probably just related to the way the engine bay is layed out in the explorer vs the Ranger.

Hello again lads,

So I was able to finally get around to getting the intake manifold off, and have noticed that not only did the mice build a mansion underneath my manifold, but they also chewed through my knock sensor wire...

Given I live in the woods, where preventing mice getting into my engine is near-futile, I'm somewhat against getting a new knock sensor if mice are just going to chew through it again in the future... especially since it seemed to be running good enough when I presume the wire was chewed through for some time, before they got to the fuel line (which of course is worth replacing).

My question is: will running without the knock sensor be fine if I just start running 91+ fuel in it?

Thanks,

E
