My 1988 STX has the tach- speedo cluster, but the needle for the tack is snapped in half. She still works, just weird to have a stub for a needle...The overall look of it is driving me insane.... So I was asking, is there a way to swap the speedo needle off of my parts truck onto my tack in my truck? What is the best way? I would imagine being patient with two screw drivers and prying it off of it?

im not sure if your needles can be pulled off and swapped or if you would have to remove the cluster and swap the panels out (my 94 is made up of 4 panels that snap together and the needles are also removeable). id say hit up the junk yard and pic a subeject to dismantle and that should teach you what you want to know. plus if you break it youre not out anything except maybe skinned knuckles.

Lol, yeah, I would try that at a junkyard, but this is Nj. We dont have any. And the ones that exist are not friendly to people pulling parts. I drive to Va for u- pull parts. No joke.
