Hi. How or which are the different methods to bypass or eliminate the speed governor (wich keep my Ranger from going over 105 MPH?

why would you want your truck to go faster than 105mph. you do realize it's a truck and not a race car? maybe someone will be able to tell you, but i find it pointless

Well... I'm really an Adrenaline Junkie. So I'm modifying mi Ranger a little at a time. I have already done a few mods and am taking it to the raceway this weekend. Race mods include 2" drop. Flowmaster exhaust. Intake porting and polishing. Down sizing the tires for quicker acceleration. Upcoming is exhaust cutout. Different ratio rockers. By the way... Adrenaline junkies race everything. Including Grand ma's Lincoln.
Get it, Hillbilly?

i am what you might call an adrenaline junkie too :icon_thumby: ,FWIW, watch the name calling. i don't mind being called a hillbilly, i did after all grow up in the country, but the way you say it has a derogetory sound. FWIW, if you like driving trucks fast, knock youir socks off, if i want to go fast, i just hop in my camaro and kick her up to a buckforty and hangon. besides, even if i wanted to go fast in MY truck i couldn't, it's designed to either go through shit or over shit. now that we got that out of the way and established that we both like the rush of powerful things , you might try to search the forums, i think there was a thread posted somewhere in the last month or so that deals with disabling the speed governor.

Get it, Hillbilly?
