Does anyone have any so called tricks or better way to change the plugs. I was looking at it yesterday and looked to me the easiest way was to just take off the intake. that way i have better access to the plugs that are "KINDA" under there. If anyone has a better way please let me know. I would like to stay away from 18 swivel sockets connected together, just to try and get one plug.:icon_rofl: Thanks to anyone for the help in advance.

If you can get it with "18" swivel sockets it is better than pulling the intake, imo... My friend did my 94 2.3L, he cussed a little but got er done. I think the rear one he ended up chaining 2-3 swivels.

the rear one, a mix of a 8" and 3" extension puts the ratchet at just the right spot to be between the wiper motor and intake manifold, to get #3 out I believe you should be able to put the extensions between the two intake tracts.

Well fellas i appreciate the help. I will post back after i cuss and get this fiasco done.

I have done this job twice, the first time I did it without removing the intake manifold, what a pain that was. The second time I just removed the intake, it made things much easier, I wish I had removed the intake the first time.

You can use a 3/8" ratchet with swivel spark plug socket, and various extensions, to do them all without removing the intake. I have been doing it for years. Just be careful pulling plug wires. I never pull htem off without my MAC plug wire puller, as they b reak easy being way down in there.
