Couldn't find forum where this goes so...
I have no key for my F16 spare tire lock. Which means I might as well not even carry a jack. I have roadside assist so probably they would fix a flat situation. But it should work. Yes I know some people just break it out but I'm trying to keep all stock right now. afaik, there's only 16 possible keys. I wrote Ford local parts and never heard back. What should I do, just buy another lock and somehow smash out the old one? Seems to me if you had all the keys you could just try them until one works. Or you could have a locksmith make a key but that would probably cost more than a new lock. I know it sounds trivial, but I'm just trying to knock out things one by one until everything works, and I've done well over half already. Thanks.
