Spare PATS Key Programming - I Need Help Please

I took my newly purchased keys (after I had them cut) to a key shop and he said that he could not detect a transponder in the keys. I guess I got ripped off AGAIN on Amazon.... UGGGHHH !

The key shop I went to could not tell me if I had 2 cloned keys. Maybe he did not know how to do this so I still don't know if I am working with 2 OEM Keys or 2 Cloned Keys :-(

Can you send a link to the "reputable supplier" that you use please ? Or private Message me the link please ?

Most of the time I buy in bulk anymore. That doesn’t really help you though. If I need something that I don’t want to stock and my suppliers don’t offer as a single, there are a couple companies on EBay that I’ll deal with or there is the guy who did my keys before I got geared up to do my own. I’ll have to dig out his info or you can look on EBay under wolfsecurityhardware

Somewhere in ForScan there should be a PID for the key ID. It will give the ID number of the chip in the key that is in the ignition. That can tell you if you have cloned keys. An original and a clone will have the same ID number, two individuals will have different IDs.

Forgot about that, I do believe there is an option for that in Forscan. Been a minute since I played around with that all. Most of my toys are all OBD1 so I don’t end up using it much.

I don't use ForScan much, but it is designed to mirror the IDS program that I use every day. The functions are largely the same, but the interface is different.
