Even if it does, pats can either be tuned out or you can swap ecu's. When I did the swap in the jeep I deleted all emissions including egr, even pulled the circuits out of the harness entirely. It has a check engine light on, which is expected, and it runs a little rich cause I didn't install the rear O2 sensors, but other than that it runs good. I'm going to talk the owner into getting a tuner to delete the emissions and rear O2 sensors. That will give it better fuel economy.
