See, i try to get a middle ground....I have a 4 cylinder truck. I use it like a truck. Yesterday, I hauled a load of ear corn home. today I hauled my tools and parts to fix a tractor. tomorrow, i'm going to work.
large gas dumptrucks are common around here....they are popular farm trucks because they are built well, and they are cheap, because they are gassers. as a farm truck they run for a total of maybe 8 days a year. a diesel doesn't make sense here.
I work with batteries on a daily basis. traditional lead acid batteries are just as dangerous both in power stored and toxcicity as most other types of batteries.
